CC traveled to Shrewsbury to take on the 12-5 raiders and continued their dominant play of the last two months in a 19-9 victory.

The game was close early as the teams traded goals and after 9 minutes CC was up 3-2. The Patriots offense and defense then took over outscoring Shrewsbury 8-1 over the next 12 minutes to put the game out of reach 11-3 at the half. The first half was highlighted by 2 CC caused turnovers before Shrewsbury could get on the board, a crisp give and go goal scored by Becca Olsen and assisted by Ali Barrett, and a big save by Conley Ernst on an 8 meter shot midway through the half.

The second half saw CC outscore Shrewsbury 8-6. CC had 9 different players score and was led by Allie Barrett with 5 goals and Emma Mahoney with 3 goals and 4 assists.

Coach Paul Morrison said "The team has been tested all year, Shrewsbury was a scrappy club. We matched their intensity andwe were excellent in the transition game. Emma Mahoney's play on attack was impressive as she would challenge the
defense, and find the open cutters for goals."
